Giving Back to Bethlehem

Hello friends and family!  Rachel and I have made the decision to move our family to Israel this January where we will be teaching children at The Jerusalem School in Bethlehem.    This decision was a long time in the making, and was made with lots of prayer and counsel.  This is a huge transition for our family and we are asking for your prayer and support.

We created this website because you are precious to us and we want to keep you informed of the work we are doing, the difference it is making,  and how you can be partners with us in bringing hope back to the city that brought the world the greatest hope.

The conflict of the last several decades have left the people of Bethlehem with very low employment rates and very little opportunity for growth.   Nearly half of the population are children and due to the extreme restrictions enforced as a result of the years of conflict, many of those children will never leave the 6-mile radius of their city.   Education is one key to unlocking new hope in the hearts of the children of Bethlehem and is a practical way to give back to Bethlehem and share the love of Jesus.

I hope you will take a few moments to watch the video on this page and to take an intimate look at the vision of The Jerusalem School of Bethlehem .

P.S. This is the first time we have made a website and we are constantly updating our pages.   We apologize for any glitches or confusion in site navigation and hope you will contact us or post a comment if you have any constructive feedback.   I promise not to be offended.
